Jamille PIerre
Administrative Manager

JAMILLE PIERRE (ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGER)

Jamille Pierre is the Administrative Manager of The Emergency Training Institute of Trinidad and Tobago, one of the country’s leading Emergency Medical Service (EMS) Training facility.

Jamille has been with ETITT since 2013 and has created significant value towards students, clients and employees throughout the organization. Passionate about management and healthcare, his contributions within the company spans from assisting with student policy development, operational enhancements, student database management, administrative efficiency and the management of ETITT daily operations.

Jamille also works closely with a team of professionals spearheading the direction and vision of the company. Some of the initiatives include the successful commencement of continuing educational programmes such as the Canadian Aerospace Medicine and Aeromedical Transportation, Emergency Medical Safety, Trauma Nursing Core Course and specialized emergency response training for various petrochemical companies. Once implemented, Jamille and the team ensures the delivery of quality and customer satisfaction.

Jamille is currently pursuing a master’s degree in International Business, Leadership and Management through the University of York, United Kingdom. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Management and intends to use the knowledge acquired over the years to further expand ETITT’s presence throughout the region.  

Jamille has a prime interest in aviation and flies light aircrafts in his free time. This is where he developed his love for travel and languages.

Tamika Boucher
Administrative Assistant

TAMIKA BOUCHER – ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

With almost 14 years experience as a Business Operations Assistant, formerly known as a School Clerical Officer, in two Primary Schools through the Ministry of Education, Tamika Boucher joined the Emergency Training Institute as an Administrative Assistant in 2019.

Her passion for EMS started as a Red Cross Volunteer. Tamika would usually assist the Red Cross teacher provide medical care to individuals which sparked her interest in advancing her First Aid Knowledge.

Tamika completed a First Aid course with JARIC ESH Ltd in 2015. An advertisement on Facebook caught her attention in 2017, which led to her completing an Emergency Medical Technician Certificate one year later with the Emergency Training Institute of Trinidad and Tobago.

Her interest in EMS encouraged her to continue educating herself within the field; she holds certificates in EMS Safety, Air Medical Transport 1 (CAMATA), Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support & Anatomy and Physiology. She recently completed a Tactical Emergency Casualty Care course and successfully completed the United States National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians examination. Her goals are to ultimately become a Paramedic, specializing as a Flight Medic or an Infant Transport Team Paramedic as well as becoming an EMS Instructor.

At present, Tamika volunteers with the St John Ambulance where she currently holds the rank of Private. She regularly attends events and provides medical coverage as an Emergency Medical Technician and assists with the Red Cross Public First Aid Classes, Public Relations and the Training of the Young Cadet Members of the Brigade. Tamika also volunteers with the Society of Surgeons Trinidad and Tobago by assisting with training.

Interestingly Tamika is a certified electrician, completing her studies with MIC- MUST in 2014 and she also completed her Industrial Electrical at UWI Open Campus in 2015.
