The <\/span>Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC)<\/span><\/b> course, developed by the <\/span>National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT)<\/span><\/b>, provides EMS practitioners and prehospital providers with the tactical medical training needed to operate effectively in civilian high-threat environments.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Now in its <\/span>2nd edition<\/span><\/b>, this 16-hour course is based on guidelines established by the <\/span>Committee on Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (Co-TECC)<\/span><\/b> and endorsed by the <\/span>American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma<\/span><\/b>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
