This course is ideal for healthcare professionals who do not routinely manage critically ill pediatric patients but may encounter them during their work, including:
- Physicians and Registered Nurses not specializing in pediatrics
- EMS Personnel: EMTs, Advanced EMTs, and Paramedics
- Other healthcare providers in primary care, urgent care, or general emergency services

Course Highlights
Participants will learn to:

- Apply the systematic pediatric assessment model
- Recognize and stabilize respiratory emergencies
- Recognize and manage shock in children
- Identify and respond to cardiopulmonary arrest
- Understand the resuscitation team dynamics and the role of each responder
Course Completion Requirements
To successfully complete the course, participants must:

- Actively participate in case discussions, skills stations, and simulation scenarios
- Demonstrate proficiency in rescue breathing, cardiac arrest management, and team-based care
- Pass the 1- and 2-rescuer child BLS with AED and 1- and 2-rescuer infant BLS skills tests
- Achieve a minimum score of 84% on the video-based written exam
