Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT)

Description

The Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) programme at ETITT is designed for certified EMTs seeking to advance their knowledge and scope of practice in pre-hospital emergency care. This programme builds upon foundational EMT skills and emphasizes advanced clinical decision-making, patient assessment, and intervention skills—bridging the gap between EMT and Paramedic-level care.

Approved by the Accreditation Council of Trinidad & Tobago (ACTT) and GATE-funded for tuition only, this rigorous diploma programme is recognized as one of the most challenging, robust, and respected EMS certifications in the region.
