Description

The 2025 Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) course is an advanced, video-based, instructor-led training designed for healthcare providers involved in emergency response for infants and children.

Using a series of simulated pediatric emergencies, this course reinforces:
 

    • A systematic approach to pediatric assessment 
    • High-quality basic life support (BLS) skills 
    • PALS treatment algorithms 
    • Effective team dynamics and communication during resuscitation 
    • Post-cardiac arrest care for pediatric patients

Course Completion Requirements 

Participants must: 

  • Score a minimum of 84% on the written exam 
  • Actively participate in and complete all learning stations 
  • Pass two core case simulations (1 cardiac and 1 respiratory/shock) as a team leader, demonstrating both clinical competence and effective team behavior 
  • Successfully complete the 1- and 2-rescuer Child BLS with AED and 1- and 2-rescuer Infant BLS skills tests
