Heartsaver CPR & AED

Description

The 2025 Heartsaver® CPR & AED course is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed to recognize and respond to life-threatening emergencies, provide high-quality CPR, relieve choking, and use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) effectively. 

This course is ideal for individuals with limited or no medical training who need a certification in CPR for job requirements, regulatory compliance, or personal preparedness. 

 

What You Will Learn 

Participants will gain practical, hands-on experience in: 

    • CPR for adults, children, and infants, including the use of barrier devices 
    • Relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (choking) in both responsive and unresponsive victims 
    • Use of an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) on both adults and children 
      • The AED is a portable device that analyzes heart rhythm and provides voice/visual prompts to guide users through defibrillation 
    • Recognition and emergency response to four major life-threatening conditions: 
      • Heart Attack 
      • Cardiac Arrest 
      • Stroke 
      • Choking 

 

This course can be combined with the Heartsaver First Aid.

Certification Includes: 

    • Emanual 
    • Official AHA e-Card and digital certificate 
    • Certification valid for two years 

Course Completion Requirements: 

    • Active participation in all hands-on skills sessions 
    • Demonstrated competency in CPR, AED, and choking relief procedures
