Support (BCLS) Certification Course

Description

The 2025 AHA’s BLS course is designed for healthcare professionals and emergency response personnel who need to know how to recognize life-threatening emergencies and perform high-quality CPR, ventilation, and early defibrillation (AED) across a wide variety of clinical and prehospital settings. 

This course is aligned with the latest American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).

Course Information

  • Duration: 8 hours
  • Format: Instructor-Led or HeartCode (Blended Learning)
  • Certification Validity: 2 Years

Course Content Includes: 

    • High-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants 
    • The AHA Chain of Survival, with a focus on BLS components 
    • Early use of an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) 
    • Effective ventilation using a barrier device 
    • Relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (choking) in adults, children, and infants 
    • Importance of teamwork and roles in multi-rescuer CPR 

Tuition Includes: 

    • Official BLS e-Manual 
    • AHA e-Card (digital certification) 
    • Certificate of Completion (valid for two years) 

Course Completion Requirements: 

    • Written Exam: Minimum pass mark of 84% 
    • Skills Assessment: Demonstrated competency in CPR, AED use, ventilations, and choking relief
